Among the many non-profit charities Arena is supporting, this year, Arena was also announced as an official patron for a charitable organization, "Soldier On" which is looking to help mentally and physically wounded Australian soldiers. The singer said: "It’s vital that Australian soldiers have access to support when they return from overseas, and "Soldier On" will make a much needed difference in the lives of wounded veterans and their families. Personal life

In 2000, Arena began dating French artist Vincent Mancini, sometimes credited as Vincent Hare. Together, they have a son Gabriel Joseph, born 17 November 2005.
