International recognition
Miller’s first nationality is English, however he is eligible to play for Scotland (although he has yet to be capped by either nation). After his good form in 2004–05 he was noticed by Scotland manager Berti Vogts. But it never happened due to injury. This led Miller hint that he hope get a Scottish call up. Miller was named in a friendly squad to face Wales but missed out due to an ankle injury.
