Kevin Mathis : biography

Kevin Bryant Mathis (born April 29, 1974) is an American football cornerback in the National Football League who has not played in the league since becoming a free agent after the 2006 season. He played professionally for the Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, and the Atlanta Falcons.
Early life
Mathis was born in Gainesville, Texas, and attended Gainesville High School. He was a letterman in football, basketball, and track. In football, he was a two-time All-District selection. Mathis graduated from Gainesville High School in 1992. He played college football at Texas A&M University-Commerce.
Professional career
Mathis played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1997 to 1999, the New Orleans Saints from 2000 to 2001 and for the Atlanta Falcons from 2002 to 2006.
